Together, we’ll raise funds for Acorn’s scholarship program, helping make outdoor learning accessible for all, and have a great time doing it!
Our promise:
​A wealth of research has established that time outside leads to better health, social, and learning outcomes; and engaging with nature empowers children to be stewards of the natural world. Our mission is to make these benefits accessible to all through hands-on experiences led by highly-trained early childhood and environmental educators.

Acorn Outdoor Learning is one of the only outdoor education programs in a major city in the US. Guided by the belief that engagement with nature is possible everywhere and all the time. We are committed to creating a sense of belonging and inspired by the natural world, where nothing is possible without diversity.
Your impact:
In 2025, Acorn awarded over $50,000 in camp scholarships and offered free community programs to over 100 children and adults. To continue offering free and low-cost outdoor education, we've set a 2026 fundraising goal of $25,000.
