Winter Day Off Camps
Our Winter Day Off Camps give students a full day of adventure, creativity, and outdoor discovery. Each session is packed with hands-on activities, nature explorations, and exciting projects designed to keep children learning, playing, and having fun while school is out.

In this series we’ll explore the natural word in winter. What happens to trees and other plants? Why do some trees stay green while others are bare? Which birds migrate and which stay, and why? How do insects get through the winter? And where do they go?

NEW! We will be using UltraCamp for programs scheduled March 2026 and beyond. This will require a one-time new account registration. You can access all programs using one link, and can enroll in one session or return to enroll later.

NEW! Spring Break Camp
Location: Hill Center at Old Naval Hospital
Hours: 8:30-3:30 full day, 8:30-5:30 aftercare
Fees: $450 day, $100 aftercare. Only full-week registration is available for Spring Break Camp. $50 nonrefundable deposit fee is required. Tuition assistance is available.​​​

Note: for enhanced safety, we are requiring a photo of your student at the time of registration. We recommend taking the photo so it can be uploaded at registration. The best photo is a clear headshot with no background. This photo will be used only for student identification and attendance.

Open to students ages 3–8.*
Schedule, Time & Tuition:

Full Day: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM $130 per session

One time payment, or weekly installments

Aftercare: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM $15 additional per day drop-in or reserve in advance
A Snack and admission fees are covered in tuition.

*Students must be able to toilet independently and walk up to 2 miles in a day, carrying their own lunch and supplies. We do not have afternoon nap time. If your child needs accommodations or you aren't sure if your child is ready, please contact us at admin@acorndc.org.
