Neighborhood Tree Walk: Lincoln Park to Eastern Market
Hosted by Acorn Outdoor Learning & Tree Stories LLC
Trees make great-story tellers. The best, really. They’ve been around for a while. And DC has some great trees. The best, really. So come join Acorn Outdoor Learning and Tree Stories LLC to share stories and science! Co-led by Sam Nelson and Lisa Brooks, we’ll discuss unique trees in Lincoln Park, explore street trees around Eastern Market, and learn about the magical science of autumn colors and seasonal transitions.
We’ll begin in the east end of Lincoln Park near the Mary McLeod Bethune Statue at 5:30pm. We’ll stroll half a mile in total, through Lincoln Park, down North Carolina Avenue to Eastern Market and end at Tunicliff’s Tavern around 7 pm. If you need an accommodation to enjoy the event, please reach out to us so we can support.
